We worked with Jordan Weed who created a custom kitchen layout. He collaborated with our interior designer Adam Bechtold on the design and choosing the best paint color match for the main cabinets as well as the accent look for our rustic oak island. He provided a professional drawing set with several revisions to fulfill our ideas. During the installation phase he visited the house multiple times to meet with our contractor and answer any questions to make sure everything was fitting as intended. We absolutely love the cabinets, beautiful craftsmanship and we will cherish for years to come.

We embarked upon a major renovation of our home, which involved transforming a traditional walled-off kitchen into a more modernized open concept space. The space was quite dated and needed renovation. So, this involved demo of walls and a re-imagination of the space. We worked with Nancy, who was incredibly creative and patient in designing a beautiful and functional space. Importantly, this was much more than simply selecting cabinets; she came up with several detailed floorplans and designs, and adjusted to constraints that we faced -- including pipes and other features of the home. And, she also provided options to keep us within our budget.

Throughout the project, she worked closely with our contractor, and always made us feel like we were her only client!

For us, we feel that the results are fantastic, and we are very happy and grateful to work with her and the Kitchen & Bath Studios team.

A huge thank you to Dan and his team at The Kitchen & Bath Studio in Gaithersburg for a superb job. I needed a toilet replaced, a tub faucet replaced and a shower spout replaced. The tub faucet wasn't easy and involved removing a piece of tile to access the faucet. Not only did they remove the existing tile without ruining the surrounding tiles, but a new tile was expertly replaced and looks like it was always there. They were friendly, the workmanship was great and they cleaned up before they left. I highly recommend The Kitchen & Bath Studio for all your remodeling needs!

Nancy is the most creative, yet practical designer we have ever worked with. Up front, she invested time understanding our needs in the kitchen and how we cooked and entertained in order to create her design. One year later, and we continue to love the kitchen she designed for us...and our guests do too. Nancy's work is so beautiful, we've asked her to design all of our bathrooms as well for the next phase of our renovation. She is a remarkable talent and a great partner. Consummate professional.

Absolutely Awesome

Dan and his team were excellent. They are perfectionists who get the job done right. Dan helped me with ideas for the kitchen and it turned out amazing -- countertops, backsplash, kitchen island and painting. They also did my laundry room. The tile work on the floor is perfect. I would hire again.

It went great! Dan ( the CEO) responded quickly to my request and his employee did a great job. He was quick, clean and safe ( during COVID-19). His price was very reasonable and his employee came back quickly to make an adjustment to a faucet install. I highly recommend The Kitchen and Bath Studio for doing excellent work, being extremely responsive and giving fair prices with no “ nickel and diming” for small extras or adjustments. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience working with Dan and his staff. They remodeled my bathroom 2 years ago and it is beautiful. They are truly a pleasure to work with- trustworthy and professional. And, they show up on time and daily, unlike many contractors.

I have sold over 600 homes, and overseeing renovation and repair for hundreds of them. I have never encountered a company like this before. They show up when they say they will. They are very courteous and professional. They asked questions. They finished quickly, and did an extraordinary job. They are not the cheapest company on the block, but having gone with the cheapest several times, wasting everyone’s time and money, I will never go that route again. You absolutely get what you pay for, and if you want to avoid pain and spending more in the long run, absolutely hire this company.

The bathroom remodel went perfectly. They are experts at their job. Trustworthy, Punctual, clean, precise, and always do beautiful work. I wouldn’t hesitate to let them remodel my entire house if needed.

I hired Kitchen and Bath Studio to do a full remodel of our kitchen after they did a great job on a bathroom remodel for us a couple of years ago. The work turned out very well, and it was completed on time. Dan provides excellent communications and is very responsive to questions. When there were some minor issues, they went above and beyond to resolve them. Dan was also very accommodating and flexible with rescheduling the job as it had originally been scheduled during the height of the COVID situation. I highly recommend them.

My wife & I owe a massive thank you to KBS and Nancy Kotarski for our successful kitchen renovation. KBS's has a big selection of cabinetry, but what set them apart was the customer-centric design and attention to detail. Multiple different vendors gave cookie cutter proposals at similar or greater price points, but Nancy's eye for design, patience, and passion for the craft brought everything together. We are picky in our choices, and she spent extra time with us to get to know our style, budget, and matched us with the right product and theme. She listened, and inserted herself at the right times during the design and implementation phases as designer AND trusted advisor. Nancy picked up the phone and gave advice on important decisions well past the point at which KBS was financially motivated, and was interested in the outcome of the project personally and professionally. It resulted in a kitchen past our expectations, and we couldn't be happier.

Our experience with Kitchen & Bath Studios was over the top and my wife and I couldn't be happier with our results. We built a custom Frank Lloyd Wright inspired Prairie style home and wanted a beautiful kitchen, bath and various cherry cabinetry touches throughout the entire house. We worked very closely with Nancy Kotarski to come up with a plan that met our needs. I'm an absolute perfectionist and Nancy patiently provided updated plans which we revised several times. We also had a very complex kitchen design with an integrated island that I thought would be impossible to design symmetrically. I was in tears when Nancy presented the final design--absolute perfection in terms of integrating the beautiful cherry cabinets, the stainless appliances and the granite island and counter tops. My wife and I have decided to take "staycasions" in the future because coming home each evening is like staying at a 5-star resort. It has been a year since we had our kitchen completely remodeled. The KBS designer, Karen Hourigan, transformed a well-worn 60-year-old kitchen into a modern delight, at a very reasonable cost. After seeing a spectacular kitchen while interviewing clients of prospective architects for our full house renovation and expansion, we asked the homeowners about their kitchen.
